Licensed in Missouri and Kansas, Zachary Bassin, Audrey Snyder Young, Brian Barjenbruch, and Kerry Kinkade have individually represented landlords and property managers in courts throughout western Missouri and eastern Kansas. They now work together to offer professional and effective representation throughout the Kansas City area.
Our attorneys have collectively handled hundreds of landlord-tenant cases and have tried hundreds of those cases successfully in court. All of our attorneys have handled complex eviction matters, including squatter disputes, emergency action due to criminal conduct, and evictions relating to excessive property damage. Zach has been an attorney since 2006 and is licensed to practice before all the courts in the state of Missouri. With past experience as a prosecutor and in complex litigation defense, Zach's trial skills have been honed since graduating law school. Zach began practicing landlord-tenant law in 2014 and has dedicated his legal work to serving landlords since then.

Brian has been an attorney since 2002 and is licensed to practice before all the courts in Missouri and Kansas, in the federal courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas, and in the federal Courts of Appeal for the 8th and 10th Circuits. Brian began his career as a litigator, and much of his early experience was in the area of employment law. He has dedicated his practice to landlord-tenant disputes since 2018.

Audrey L. Snyder Young has been a practicing attorney since 2007 and is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. She has represented both commercial and residential landlords in the public and private sectors, as well as subsidized housing providers, since 2013. Audrey has over ten years' experience representing homeowners' and condominium owners' associations.

Kerry Kinkade has practiced law since 1985 and is licensed to practice in all state courts in Kansas and Missouri, as well as the federal courts for the District of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri. Mr. Kinkade has regularly represented property owners and management companies in the Kansas City area in residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters of all kinds for over forty years, including drafting and negotiating leases, enforcement of leases, actions to recover possession of property, and collection of amounts due.
In addition, Mr. Kinkade has represented clients in a variety of real-estate-related legal matters, including the purchase and sale of all types of real estate — from vacant land and single-family homes to multi-family, commercial, and industrial properties — as well as easement, boundary, ownership, and title disputes, and numerous other real estate issues. Mr. Kinkade has also assisted clients with general business law issues, including the formation of business entities, and has represented both borrowers and lenders in the negotiation of loans and the drafting, review, and negotiation of loan documents.
